Compuware Optimal/J

A Model Driven Architecture tool that can take RDBMS schema and automagically generate class diagrams that in turn can create all the deployment and runtime code for a full blown J2EE system and can target a number of different middleware platforms including Weblogic and Jboss/Tomcat. IO-Software Arcstyler

Similar to Optimal/J, an MDA tool that will target multiple middleware platforms. Closer to the OMG's idea of an MDA tool, elegantly structured with a strong Open Source component, but no action semantics either. http://www.io-software.com

Telelogic Tau2

Another MDA tool. This one does support Action Semantics. Targets embedded processor type applications requiring extreme reliability. http://www.telelogic.com

iPlanet Portal

iPlanet Portal - a full featured portal for B2B, B2C, B2E deployments that allows secure access over the Internet to both Web and legacy client-server applications. integrates the iPlanet product set - iPlanet Directory Server, iPlanet Web server, iPlanet Application Server as well as the components of the Portal itself. Xerox DocuShare

Docushare An economical Web based document management system written in Python and configured with XML. Supports ODMA which makes it very easy to use, albeit less robust.

Hamilton Technologies A mature software engineering tool that lets you create defect free software very quickly. Uses a proprietary run time much like Java, albeit much faster. The latest and greatest will generate Java too, for the best of both worlds.

Telelogic The premier CMM suite for producing systems

Go-Global UX and Go-Global XP

GoGlobal Web based remote access software for Unix and Wintel. Recommended.

Citrix Metaframe

Citrix Robust remote access for Wintel. Expensive and requires Windows Terminal Server.

VisualizeInc StockPlot and HeatMap

VisualizeInc Great components for the financial services segment. Configured and communicating using XML.

Avaya LSMS based firewalls, routers and VPN gateways

Avaya Centrally managed networking - cheaper than Cisco and the LSMS manages everything unlike Cisco Secure.

Apache

Apache - a well known server that runs much of the Internet.

Project Liberty

Project Liberty – Federated Authentication Services for E-Business Single Sign On. Good for corporate use too. If haven't checked this out, you should!
